Opinions on Letter signed as "Ron" by Ronald Reagan that I got for really cheap? Opinions would be appreciated!

Hey all! I recently purchased this Ronald Reagan signature for around $200 on eBay, which I though was a really great deal. However, before purchasing it I did do a lot of research on his autopens and secretarials (von Damme, in particular). He signed the letter as Ron, and the content of the letter itself is a sort of apology to a couple he knew for displacing them from their seats, back in 1968. i bought the letter from the Written Word on Ebay.

Here's an image of the letter I bought:

Additionally, here's a letter signed by Reagan as Ron around the same time frame. This letter was also deemed authentic by PSA/DNA, and the similarity in terms of the "Ron" was what really convinced me that the letter I got was authentic.

I did look at the RR Auctions signature study on Ronald Reagan as well, and personally I do think it's authentic. However, the fact that I was able to get it for a relatively cheap price was what was surprising to me.

I'd really appreciate any opinions from all the presidential signature experts!

Thanks!

It looks right, but as it's only 3 letters long a lot of the hallmarks you would see from a Von Damm are not readily apparent. It might be easier to identify with more handwriting, but I'd certainly be comfortable with a purchase from a reputable dealer like Written Word.

Incidentally, here's the tail end of my recently PSA'd Reagan handwritten note, circa 1948, also signed "Ron"

Very nice items. Reagan is drinking Carnation milk in that Nov. 67 photo. I am really surprised I recognized it correctly.
