Alan Young will forever be known for his Mister Ed television show.  He was one of my favorite actors and fortunately I was able to get him to inscribe his book to me.  It was not long after that he pretty much stopped signing due to ill health.  He was wonderful actor and brought warmth and humor to countless shows.  I always find it sad when people of my parents generation die anymore since there are so few left.
