My hometown of Crawfordsville, IN is a very historic community about 33 miles from Indy. It's also home to Wabash College, the Henry S. Lane Mansion (former Gov. of Indiana) and the Lew Wallace Study. Wallace is best known as the author of the book "Ben Hur" and as former Governor of New Mexico. In between autograph sessions and a planned celebrity auction, July 4th Festival committee members gave Jon Provost and Lani O'Grady a free tour of the Lew Wallace Study. Lani is holding her own copy of the book "Ben Hur". One other historic fact connected with Crawfordsville is that the movie "Hoosier's" was made in that area.
