Flier #1: In 2008 Hawk Point Elementary 4th graders started their own letter writing effort in hopes of holding a successful celebrity auction for a new school playground. Former "Bold & The Beautiful" cast member William deVry donated his time to assist the students and was in town for six days. I felt very privileged to help this project along by also procuring items for the students. Between the two separate events that were held, over $16,000 was raised.
