Chris Johnson and me at the November 2, 2013, meet and greet at BP Sports in Marietta, GA. When Chris came over to the Braves along with Justin Upton in the trade that sent one of my favorite players (Martin Prado) to the Diamondbacks, he had a lot of pressure put on him right away, as he was going to be Chipper Jones' replacement at third base. All he did was finish 2nd in the National League in batting with a .321 batting average, played solid defense at third, and helped lead the Braves to the Eastern Division championship. Look forward to having this guy around for a long time.

He sure did, Tony. Did great that year in 2013, and then, just got into a funk. We have him platooning at third this year, and he's hitting a respectable .279 average. Was a great signer this year on the Braves Caravan this past January.
