I do not at all mind getting any of my autographs, "personalized". In fact, as a private collector who does not sell out of his collection, I prefer it. However, if all 5 members of a band, in this case the EAGLES were to all put, "To Stephen" it would end up being a junkie mess and quite the over kill. In the case of Don Henley, Don Felder, Timothy B. Schmit, and Glenn Frey, they especially are so concerned about not signing for dealers, that they will almost only sign with an inscription. I have no issue with that as long as all 5, 6, or 7 of them don't ruin an album by all marking it up with such personalizations. I understand "the why", but I also would prefer as nice of a collection of signatures as possible.
