i have an Enterprise blue print on my page that has been signed by almost everyone I have been able to get. I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Doohan in person at the DragonCon show in Atlanta. His autograph is in the bottom right hand corner and even back in 2001 it was a very poor signature and he was in pretty good spirits back then. but the next year he was there maybe 2002 or 2003 he was getting in really bad shape and not very responsive. So if someone said it was his last signing I imagine it would look worse than mine. They kind of pissed me off at the show because whomever was taking care of him just left him sitting by himself in his motorized chair at the side of the lobby so I spoke to him for a few minutes until someone returned. But he wasn't very responsive.

You were lucky to meet him, and that was terrible about Mr. Doohan at DragonCon in 2002-2003! My mother has an autographed photo of him from the 60's when the show was on the air. You can really tell the difference between when he was younger and when he wasn't doing so well towards the end. This one was signed in August 2004, less than a year before he died. Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet him, although I'll at least be getting the chance to meet Nichelle Nichols, George Takei and William Shatner at the Star Trek convention in Boston in a couple of weeks.
