Here is a picture of me, Arnold Umbach, and Marty Perez. Arnold was a pitcher for the Braves in 2 different cities; Milwaukee (1964,) and Atlanta (1966.) Though his career was brief, it was a good one. He faced Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente, Bill Mazeroski, Willie Mays, and Willie McCovey, and held them all to a combined batting average of just .100! Marty was a great shortstop and second baseman for the Braves from 1971-1976. He himself could knock around some of the all-time greats. Against Hall of Fame pitchers Bob Gibson, Ferguson Jenkins, and Gaylord Perry, he hit for a dazzling .340 batting average against them combined. Not too shaby, guys!
