De Niro without a doubt.
Good to hear that Celebrity got Stallone possibly on a signing contract. Hopefully the more high quality items he signs, the lower the prices will be.
Everyone wants the major actors in the collection: Eastwood, Nicholson, De Niro, Heston, etc but for actors like Stallone and Pacino, if you dont get them in a private signing it isn't worth shelling out money because their signatures are all over the place. It doesn't help when these companies/the actors themselves charge $500 a signature either because they basically have you ball and chain and can twist at their leisure.
mike----alot of ppl on the line were genuine stallone fans. not dealers looking to resell his autograph. so if you have a chance to meet your idol it's worth the money.
ian--there's no way they paid stallone $10 to $20 grand. LMAO. I'm sure it was much more.
I agree Hammer, I bet all were fans. I am a big fan of Stallone too and have always wanted his signature; BUT, I wouldn't spend $500 on a signature for someone who is still living. It just doesn't make sense to me when I can get baseball players like DiMaggio, Mantle, Williams, etc for under that price and all of them are no longer around. That's just me though. If I had money to burn, sure, I'd get a piece from Stallone through private signings. It just doesn't make financial sense, to me at least. Anyway, terrific piece and hope you enjoy it for years to come!
Mike P, I agree. From a financial end Stallone (or any other living celeb) may start signing all the time putting thousands of items on the market thus lowering the value. This has happened to a degree with Mike Tyson and others. If you are paying for the experience of spending a moment with your favorite celeb than price somewhat goes out the window.
