A 1968 Collins pocket diary that has been autographed inside by Paul McCartney in pencil. Paul has opted to sign on the page dated 4th July 1968, American Independence Day. The signature comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘I got Paul McCartney’s signature outside his house 7 Cavendish Avenue of John’s Wood, as he got into a chauffeur driven car he rolled down the window and signed inside my diary’. The recipient has noted that she met Paul McCartney on October 24th 1968, it was on this day that Paul travelled with Linda to Liverpool to visit the Cavern Club on October 25th. The diary measures 6.5cm x 9cm (2.5 inches x 3.5 inches). The condition is very good plus.
