Why do you collect?

Holding an autograph from a musician or composer I revere is a way of channeling their spirit. I love putting on a recording of a performer or work of music and holding something written by the person responsible for those extraordinary sounds!

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

At present, my favorite items in stock are an early work by Robert Schumann inscribed to his first fiance who was the dedicatee of the piece; and a Bob Dylan album signed and inscribed by Jimi Hendrix who writes "I dig it too."
