"First day issue envelopes are a huge haven for forged autographs like this Williams. I stay miles away from first day issues. Whether it be sport or entertainment these envelopes are just a black hole in the hobby."

"What about it looks fake, you ask? Everything! I am not an expert on TW and even I can see it looks bad. The T and W are way off, as is the whole last name.  There are some good fakes of TW's autograph out there that I have a tough time…"

"You may want to consider having your autographed items authenticated by a reputable TPA prior to selling them on eBay in order to avoid any issues."
