I can't speak for the signature, but Augenthaler was famous from the 80s on.
In 74, he was 17 years and I am not sure, if was called Auge in those early years.
It is only an aspect to remark.

"The 62'er signatures look different than in the 'later' years. Nevertheless, there are always characteristics that agree with each other. It's not an Aspinall and I think the signatures are authentic."
