ok Cee Gee, I see your point, to me the ball in that same posting is very similar to mine, you called that a clubhouse, others could'nt call it.
Shame because mine is in such better shape then his.
So is the value pretty much halved? In my limited research an authentic would go for $1200 plus.
What would a club be worth?

no problem. I understand that it can be confusing, but Mantle's clubhouse signatures are well documented. I am fortunate enough to have a '61 Yankee team ball with a real Mantle and Maris. Most of them are clubhouse.
The majority of NY Yankee team-signed baseballs from the 1950's contained a Mickey Mantle "clubhouse" signature. The one posted here by John Michaels is a "clubhouse" version of "The Micks" sig.
