Not to mention the Dimaggio and Ted Williams forgeries. It is so evident the same person is selling the bulk of the Williams forgeries. Have you noticed that the m in Williams is pointy and the exact same on every single one of these whether they are single signed or multi player forged.

Comment by terrier8HOF on October 31, 2024 at 5:40pm: its true, I looked at Mantle's recently on ebay and I believe 80% of them were fake. 15 years ago, Ebay had a program where certain individuals had the authority to report and have forgeries removed. It had a very positive effect as there were very few forgeries at that time. But there was a change in management and they scrapped the program
