This is supposed to be a John Lennon signed document from March 1980...what does the group think?...yes?..no?lennon%20001.jpg
it sure does not look like a john from 1980.
Nope...it' doesn't...
Looks nothing like the one above...
It looks like an attempt at an early 70's Lennon signature.
No way!
nope. looks horrible.
RE: Jim Cushman's note above...
I ran across this somewhere along the way, so the story goes that this is the last signature of Lennon, signed for the secretary at the recording studio before he went home that fateful December night.
Here is the source of the story:

And here is a news article on the piece, called "Lennon's Last Sketch"
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/04/20/1082395847836.html
The signature shown above is supposed to be the last thing that Lennon ever signed. It was done for the receptionist at the Hit Factory where Lennon worked on Yoko's"Walking On Thin Ice". It was signed at appox. 10:30 pm as he left the studio to head back to the Dakota...where he was shot at appox.10:50 pm.
Pretty amazing. I posted a lennon signed inscription a few months ago here that was also from late 1980, that I received from Yoko's office at the Dakota nearly 2 years after his death.
