I have been having computer problems, and found this old blog that didn't post. So, here it is. Perfect timing, with reports coming out that Johnny Depp is the most overpaid actor (his last few movies making a lot less than he is paid).

I was reading a People Magazine from October 11 of this year, and in the SCOOP section, they talked about Jennifer Aniston being in a small town in Clarkesville, Georgia, for the filming of a movie called Wanderlust with Paul Rudd.

It’s funny, because I recently met a guy in town from Macon, Georgia. He told me Dennis Quaid was there filming the remake of Footloose, and was very nice with the people in the town. He was always shaking hands and talking to each person that was around the set.

Anyway, People writes:

Clarkesville, Ga, has a population of 1,722 – and a temporary 1,723^rd resident who has the small city buzzing: Jennifer Aniston is there. She’s driven around in a black Escalade but had local salon My Nails visit her rented home for a manicure. And she’s been shopping at the Ingles Market. One onlooker said “She signed autographs. She looked happy.”

They also talk about some of the restaurants they ate at.

Later in the day, on 570 AM in Los Angeles, I heard the sports guys talking about how nice Johnny Depp was (these are the same guys that talk autographs often). The guest on the show, who sounded like a movie critic of some kind, said how disappointing he was when Depp cancelled 100 of the 150 interviews he had scheduled one day. He later found out it was so Depp could go ride the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disneyland over and over, with various Make-a-Wish Foundation kids that wanted to meet him.

Pat O’Brien, one of the hosts (and former TV entertainment reporter), talked about running into Depp in a hotel lobby and telling him how he’s his wives favorite actor. He said, “She was going to sleep in today, and I think it would be funny if you go up to our room and go wake her up.”

Depp loved the idea and was going to do it, but a PR person insisted Depp not do it (you can imagine all the possibilities if something went wrong).

So, for those that ask us why Johnny Depp is always the #1 signer on our best/worst list…now you have a little more insight into his personality.
