Chiller convention- I interviewed Dawn Wells, Mary Ann from Giligans Island, Barbara Feldon, origianl 99 from Get Smart, Catherine Mary Stewart from The Last Starfighter, and Vernon Wells, bad guy from Commando, The Road Warrior, Werid Science and more! Richard Dreyfus said NO , Ann Margaret was too busy signing, but we did say hi to her, Patrick Stewart's handlers Bob C. and Lou said No way he couldn'd do it, and Peter Fonda said yes , so I set my camera and microphone up , but it did not happen.

Ok, so Peter Fonda's girlfriend, she made it a point not to tell me her name when I asked her, and said about my interviewing him, "So, what's in for me?" I assume she meant to include Peter in that equation as well.
I explained to her that when readers and fans of this magazine read about Peter at an autograph show and that I also promote anything he would like fans to know, these are the people that come out to this type of signing convention to meet Peter, so it is all about that promotion and info and where he will be for fans to come out and purchase his autograph and items!!

Logical, you think?!! Well she said as nasty as she could say it, " I don't believe that is how it works, and you shoud pay us now for doing this interview!" Hmmmmmm. I told her I do not pay for interviews, but I would be happy to at least Blog anything they wished fans to know!

She said she was not happy I would not pay her and said NO to me. I kindly asked if I could stand next to Peter for a photo so I could at least show we met him and that he is here at this show.
Peter was very quiet during this whole thing, but again, said qietly, YES to me and waved me in next to him. His girlfriend stopped me and said harshly, "20 bucks". I said I could not pay for that just to take his picture, so she said, "Then forget it".

I tried.
Richard Dreyfus said No to me as well. It was so crowded and many long lines even on Sunday, that I could not even approach some other guests. Whew.

But, I got what I got in interviews and they all kindly signed for me that I acutally did meet and chat with. IT is always fun at Chiller!!!
