Poster shows the new Imax film version of Where the Wild Things Are

The movie, starring Max Records and featuring the voices of Lauren Ambrose, James Gandolfini, Catherine O'Hara and Forest Whitaker, opens in regular and IMAX theaters on Oct. 16.

Is it me, or does this movie poster look odd? As a child, I remember reading, and loving, this book. Mainly because of the great illustrations. This almost looks a bit to computer animated or something.

This was just one of those children's books that had no need in being turned into a movie. The movie was extremely odd and scary for many young kids who were in the theater at the time. Failure on converting this classic to the big screen...
