Should Autograph Authenticators sell or Consign Autographs to Auction Houses were they authenticate?

Now here is a fair question to ponder upon. Many on this site will be angry and attack, but yet a fair and important question that needs to be addressed. My answers and reseach will come at the end of the Blog Post.

I am Scott Davidoff.

I have already spoken with the FBI. We will just have to wait and see.

O.K.
Back to the Question-- I would like to hear a little more from both Roger E. & John R. about consigning items into auctions with their own COA's attached.

Mike Frost/Davidoff--I've had enough. The autograph fraud industry is not welcome here. You're gone, and do not come back under any name.

Sachel Davit Duncan...perfect! You can tell John's used to naming men. Sachel, all we need to do now is dunk you to the Mikveh off the 405 near the Getty and you'll be ready to board El Al.

RR Auction rejects submissions from me, I get no special treatment. Most of the reasons they send stuff back is because of value or because the act is too modern.
Why would I submit something that I thought was bad? I‘m not their only rock and roll expert, just their best.

It's called confidence.

The war in the autograph business seems to be a war between dealers who have conducted themselves with good intent and are careful about authenticity vs. Those dealers who are marginalized by not doing what I just said. Those on the wrong side of the line seem to spend their lives trying to have those on the right side join them in their moral morass. They do this by scrutinizing every move the good guys make hoping to find the 1 slip up out of 10,000. Then they publicize it and repeat it over and over again. They also lie and twist the truth to fit their own party line. They never talk about the 9,999 we get it right. Never. The war is coming to an end though. The sensationalism caused by the self proclaimed muckrakers who are really hiding their own weaknesses is slowly being exposed as nothing but fraud. The Federal government is cracking down hard on fraudsters and private lawsuits are flying against those that liable and lie. Much more to come on this subject.

This platform, Autograph Magazine Live is a democratic forum. It is one where opinions can exchange without fear of reprisals and where the truth is always eventually ferreted out. It is not a one sided factless bash fest where

Additionally and at the risk of sounding like I am pontificating (sorry ) , I have checked the ratings of this site and they are up 40% in traffic, mainly because it is a free forum, within reason. It is now by a factor of ten times, the most popular autograph site on the web.

mr. Davidoff, I do not know who you are and I sincerely hope you are who you say you are. In a democracy we are not afraid to proclaim ourselves and what we believe in. This site has successfully smoked out shill posters, and posters who use two id's to try to present a consensus , no matter how false it may be. Everytime a suspected shill poster has been asked to prove themselves, they could not. Again, the proof is in the pudding. Post your drivers liscense or call steve Cyrkin to identify yourself. If you don't .... Then we know!
Thanks
Jr
