Hello Everyone,
I am fairly new to Autograph Live,
I recently came across three (3) signed autographed baseballs that I found at a local estate sale. The gentleman that I purchased these from said that these baseballs came from a celebrity golf tournament.
My knowledge is limited when it comes to baseball, so I will try and answer any questions to the best of my abilities.
I was told that the signatures came from a group of Angel’s baseball players that were participating in the Tim Wallach Sport Celebrity Golf Tournament. The paperwork that was found with the baseballs is dated February 1, 1999. Although one of the baseballs is dated 4-26-95 and 6-12-95. Please note: The date on one of the balls is not lining up with the date on the paperwork. If the tournament was in 1999 how come one of the balls in dated 1995? It doesn’t make since. Anyhow, I am just providing the information that was found with the balls.
There are 29 signatures in total but unfortunately I could only make out a few of them.
Tim Wallach
Bobby Winkles
Billy Ashley
Mark Kotsay
Lee Smith
Steve Yeager?
In-addition, at a separate Estate sale I found another signed baseball but I cannot make out the name. Its signed Johnny but I can’t read the last name. Maybe someone who knows signature figure it out. Along with this ball I found an authentic autographed signed photo of Mickey Mantle and a signed baseball card by Billy Bean from the Tigers.
I am looking to sell the lot and I am open to offers.
Thanks,
Brenda

My best guess on the first ball is that Johnny is the son of the previous owner as the last name could also be Chism.
I can read Chuck Finley on the second ball - perhaps the dates are when the signatures were obtained.
The third ball appears to be the ball referenced from the golf tournament as I can see Tim Wallach's signature.
The forth is a minor league baseball from the California league.
The Mantle picture looks good to me - but there are much better experts on this site.
I think that the Buy/Sell/Trade section would be the place to try to sell here.

Good luck - Drew
Thanks Drew I appreciate your feedback. Any idea on the value for the lot? My knowledge is limited when it comes to baseball memorabilia.
Putting a price expectation on it is difficult - you could find a value for a Mickey Mantle signed 8x10 online fairly easily (you certainly won't find a value for a baseball player hosted golf tournament signed ball), but since you are just selling a couple random items, it is only worth what someone will pay.
The buy-sell-trade forum here or eBay gives you access to collectors that could buy them if you're just looking to unload them. If I were you, I'd put it on eBay with a starting bid enough above what you paid at the estate sale to make it worth the effort.
Thank you for your suggestion. I was hoping to sell them outside of Ebay, I do have a ebay store but I have almost reached my maximum sell amount of 20k. I might have to wait until January 2017 to put them on-line.
From having a Ebay store, I totally understand the philosophy that an item is only worth what someone will pay. I truly appreciated you taking the time to respond to my posting. Thanks again :-)
