Finally Completed my Guns N' Roses Guitar!

Well, it took four years, but I was FINALLY able to finish my Guns N' Roses guitar on this tour. Of course, it doesn't have Izzy Stradlin, but he's so reclusive I'll be lucky to ever get him. I decided to keep the signatures on this guitar to just the "classic" lineup from Appetite for Destruction. It's probably one of my absolute favorites from my collection - and all obtained in person by me, which means I have the cool stories and memories associated with every signature. If you get a chance to see the band on this tour somewhere in the world, you should definitely go. The show is amazing and these guys sound fantastic! Thanks for reading!

Thanks Xweisy. You are very kind. I don't know how rare it is, but I am proud of it. And actually, believe it or not, all the signatures were obtained using a silver sharpie - not a paint pen! People always say they have terrible luck with them, but I always test them first and make sure they are flowing before the opportunity arises. So far, they haven't let me down. Thanks again for the kind words about the guitar. It is one of my absolute favorites in my collection.

Ouch!! Are there not any cheaper standard tickets that are not part of any "fan package"? That's what we did - just bought the standard floor ticket. Not part of any package.

I'm just thinking about getting autographs on some signature model guitars from a few of my favourite bands. So far I've got Tony Iommi to sign in person his Epiphone signature SG G-400 model. I've bought it used in almost mind condition for just less than $250. I belive it could be worth more than that at the moment. :) I've used Sakura silver 2mm marker as recommended by someone on this forum.

Thanks Devon. Actually I might just be happy with it being signed by Tony (not that I haven't met other Sabbath members) as it's his signature model and it kinda makes more sense… Also there isn't much place around to add the other guys. :)

I hear ya! Beautiful guitar Robert. Where did you get the silver Sakura pen? Would be interested in trying those out vs the silver sharpie and/or paint pen.
