Thank you Paul,
I will give him an offer because I think a setlist written by KC is rare and it is possible that I never find one.
For that kind of money. I would need rock solid provenance of where and when this set list was obtained. I would need it to be signed by Kurt Cobain or the band. It would need to be already authenticated. Getting a TPA to authenticate this piece would be an issue. That is my personal opinion. Good luck!!!
J. Seah right on the money as usual! I would never spend that kind of money unless it had solid provenance and was authenticated by at least 1 of PSA, JSA, or Epperson. The only time I spent big money on a Nirvana piece I bought it from RR Auction and got a certificate from them and it came with PSA/Epperson certs as well. Then, once I received the item, I took it to JSA on my own and got it authenticated there as well. And I had a 100% guarantee on my money so if JSA deemed it not authentic I could've gotten my money back from RR Auction. For $5,000+ type money I would only do it where you can't lose.
Thank you for your advice . I'll ask a quick opinion of Roger Epperson before I get that much money out. The provenance seems solid because the concert ticket is provided with the setlist. I'll keep you informed .
