Janis Joplin autograph on a Zither

Hello everyone, i need your knowlegde and opinions.

i found on a french marquet (France/Brittany) a Zither (gitarr Zither) with a supposed autograph of Janis Joplin.

Little update : 

The owner supposely bought it to an old lady in Plymouth (uk) in 2012.

she was leaving in Mayfair district near Hyde Park and had the zither since the 60´s

Is this signed in chalk pencil?

No chalk, but more like a silver ink, which has faded a lot and even whitened. it is very worn in places. it actually gives the chalk appearance. But it is very permeated in the wood.

Maybe a silver felt pen.

It’s an odd signature and there’s an unusual amount of space between the first and last name portions. They don’t appear to be continuously signed. The heart looks carefully drawn.
