Recently I purchased a Bart Starr signed full size helmet off Ebay. I know there's a lot of concern with buying auto's off Ebay. The helmet came with a Steiner authentication, but there's no code on the sticker to verify the authentication. I wanted anyone's thoughts on the autograph. I have posted the auto to this discussion. The Steiner sticker does not look tampered with, but I'm still hesitant to trust the authentication. Thanks to anyone who has any thoughts!

He has a pretty easy autograph to forge so I’m not sure. My autographed Starr card has more of a slant when he signed it. I would lean real but others would know better than I.

He is a good one for comparison.

Look at the B and the S.

Yea I have my doubts on this Starr autograph. Like Steve mentioned, the "B" and "S" look atypical to a Starr authenticated signature. The top "B" is typically squarish and the top of the "S" is usually slightly flat and the pen stroke from the "S" to the "T" is usually a very quick straight decisive line if you can see it. Hope that helps.
