This is my first discussion and hope it won't be the last :)

This one was an interesting one.

Just today a John Brennan Nirvana autograph was sold at Heritage for 2375usd inc. BP.

In my opinion because Kurt Cobain's signature is kind of not seen clearly and stayed in dark was the reason it went a little cheap.

Any thoughts ?

John Brennan has a good collection of Nirvana autographs. His nicer clear Kurt Cobain autographs would have a higher reserve than that. The background this was signed on makes it less desirable for collectors.

Exactly, you are right.

I was watching this auction live and thought of bidding on it since it is signed by John Brennan which means it is %100 authentic but I thought it would go up to 5-10K usd that is why I gave up on bidding.  Then saw it went for only 2375 usd.

As you said the background affected the price.

You get what you pay for.

I believe Heritage messed up that listing as you can find that record for sale on eBay and it does not mention John Brennan.
