He Is quite difficult to get a hold of In my experience, but I happened to run Into this listing, I have little or no experience with his things In the past and would appreciate it If someone would mind helping me out.

I have stayed away from Holden in the past because his signature is all over the place. On this piece it is very nicely done where he takes his time but the majority of his autographs are scribbled and I believe the scribbled ones more than the nice ones. My best answer is possibly secretarial, I know it’s a HistoryForSale autograph so I am going against the grain. See what others say.

Hi Alex -  I'm in agreement with Nick in that I would trust a more scribbled version of his handwriting (with sharper lines).  The "H" is unlike what I've seen before....that wavy line it begins with is really odd.  Also that upstroke flourish usually goes toward the "o" rather than out to the left.  Those "ll"s are a bit thick compared to what's usually seen.

My thought is that this is a somewhat decent secretarial.

I agree with Nick and Etienne….not a fan of this.
