If you purchased it off eBay, you WILL get a refund. Trust me. eBay are very conscious of the fake autographs on eBay, and any indication whatsoever that an autograph is fake, you will get a refund. You are protected by the eBay return policy. The fact that the seller doesn't take returns make no difference whatsoever. A return option says: "doesn't seem authentic" . You only have to prove reasonable doubt. 

Never buy an Elvis off eBay, unless it comes from an impeccable seller - for example: tracks. If you don't get a refund, you will regret it later when you come to sell it.

Never, ever trust a quick option. A quick option means it might be authentic.

Let me also make clear: this forum is a better option than a quick option. People put too much faith in quick opinions and in most cases you would be better of tossing a coin. A quick option is only good for spotting the outright fakes and not for questionable ones. They need more consideration than a quick option.

If you buy autographs based on quick opinions, you will end up with a bunch of fakes. 

To decide whether an Elvis is fake or authentic in a minute or so is beyond laughable. You have wasted your money getting a quick option.

I am definitely in the minority here, but I see some positives in this signature.  yes it looks somewhat atypical but to see its not even close is really a stretch.  I am not confident enough to want it in my collection but I also would not be surprised if it were authentic.

David sent me close ups and I compared them to 15 Elvis lots RR Auction sold. I see a lot of similarities and strongly believe that this is in Elvis's hand. I don't see anything that makes me think it's not live ink but it needs to be examined in-person out of the frame to be sure—and that there aren't other serious problems, like is the postcard itself genuine? I don't know anything about them and the printing is light.

David, I'm not comfortable with the seller or authenticator based on other offerings and that's very important—my rule is don't buy meat at Hannibal Lecter's Butcher Shop no matter how right it looks—but I can't find anything off on this piece. 

If you decide to keep considering it, ask Epperson if he'd look at the new photos you took and check out the seller if you paid for full authentication, then send it in if he still likes the piece.

Well that’s a bit of good news. Totally understand about the seller and the authenticator.

Dear all,

it is with highest interest that I am following this - and many other - discussions here. Just great to have such a forum :-)

In any case, I find the three sharp-topped "s" in "Best Wishes" more than atypical for Elvis. And the "y" in Presley as well as the last "s" in Elvis forming the "P" are off, too, in my opinion.

I do not know if this really helps, but here are two official Elvis autographs from Graceland with "Best Wishes" used for Merchandising purposes. Just for comparison.  @David Hagan: Are there any news yet? I am very curious ;-)

Hi all! And another official and real "best wishes" taken from the 1976 LP "From EP Blvd., Memphis, TN". To me, all examples do not really match the questionable one which this thread was started for.

What do you think? @David: No news on this particular one? I am very curious!
