Yes, I saw, thanks. Did you contact the office for the Terms - they don't even have them online. Never saw that before. If you have them send them to magikbilly@yahoo.com
Hi Mike,
you sent a very enlarged very small portion of the Terms. I need all you have. Please try again.
Smallest strangest set of harsh terms I've ever seen. I don't think you have any recourse as you agreed to this, and you agreed by bidding that you satisfied yourself with your own research. This is not my idea of a reputable house. I've not seen Terms like this before. See what others say but I think you might be done here.
6. The Auctioneers act as Agents only. Each Lot as set out in the catalogue, or as divided or joined with any Lot or Lots at the sale at the sole discretion of the Auctioneers, is sold with all faults, imperfections and errors of description and the Lots shall be at the purchasers risk immediately they are sold. Neither the Vendor, not the Auctioneers are responsible for the authenticity, attribution, genuineness, origin, authorship, date, age, period, condition or quality of any Lot. All statements in the catalogue as to any such matters are statements of opinion, and are not to be taken as, or as implying, statements or representatives of fact. Purchasers are deemed to have satisfied themselves by inspection or otherwise as to all such matters and as to the physical description of any Lot. Neither the Vendor nor the Auctioneers are responsible for any representation or warranty or any statement in catalogues.

Contact your bank. You may be covered.
Although they say in the terms that they are not responsible for authenticity, they claimed they were by the stones in the description, therefore, the description is misleading.
They also said in the Terms that nothing at all they said in the description is to be be taken as true or factual. In the context of the Terms the Buyer agreed to willingly that the house said the Stones in the title means nothing at all as far as I know. They have told yout his in black and white.
If he paid by credit card he will have a case against the card provider. If he paid by debit card terms may differ.
