Secretarial Autographs: Post Yours Here

When there is commentary for it or comparisons & then removed the Thread overall has a problem and many, including me, don't know what the heck someone is/was talking about. 2. If you are posting an item from an "auction" site (ebay etc...) then pls post the actual picture, and then a link to it along with the "auction" or source site. Links become dated and items disappear for a variety of reasons (12/4/2011)
As one wanders around the WWW on auction sites or blogs it is inevitable that the "secretarials" verbiage will arise. There are many breakout discussions (see a partial list below that hopefully, I captured the greater majority of threads) and in typical fashion we deviate on many threads (which I have not captured) and throw in a secretarial here & there.
Many times the secretarials focus on the high end selling items as opposed to the mid level ones e.g. The Honeymooners. Of course, the secretarials differ, at least in verbiage, to the Clubhouse, AutoPen or outright forgeries (there are lots of good threads on) but that is not for this discussion.
But back to the midlevel ones like Roy & Dale Evans, Barbara Striesand, Mary Tyler Moore or Tony Curtis to mention a few. I will add 3 pictures of authentic ones (there may be variations) for the latter three but don't have the secretarials for a side by side (which I like to see as it provides a good visual). Anyone have some? So at the risk of biting off too much (if an area takes off, perhaps I can create a breakout thread for it) what are OTHER KNOWN Secretarials and their Authentic ones and why Secretarials?

Rick, here is a thread I started on collectable insurance. Rather than insure one piece you insure ALL pieces. There are several different ones... Some like Rez & Epperson use the Dealer one while others use the "collector" one that has affordable prices and you don't have to keep stuff in a vault.

In the meanderings I came upon additional information on secretarials. Weren't there book(s) on this subject mentioned on one of these threads?
Photos signed "Walt Disney" were often signed by his fellow cartoonists. When Ronald Reagan was an actor, his mother fulfilled many requests for his autograph. Other celebrities known to have employed secretarial services for signing autographs are Charles Bronson, Cher, Clint Eastwood, Farrah Fawcett (see my Farrah thread ;http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/farrah-fawcett-autog...), Mel Gibson, Dustin Hoffman, Bob Hope, Madonna, Eddie Murphy, Jack Nicholson, Burt Reynolds, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Frank Sinatra.
Often times, secretarial signatures are difficult to detect because the secretary has practiced the signature of her boss and is very adept at mimicking the celebrity's handwriting. Frank Sinatra's secretary became expert at skillful duplication of her boss's signature. Jean Harlow's mother routinely signed her daughter's photos for fans and a prime example of a forged secretarial signature that is difficult to distinguish from the real McCoy.. Evelyn Lincoln, secretary to President John Kennedy, signed many checks in the name of her boss.
Perhaps those that might have access to these secretarials can open up a sub-subject for each of them.

Mike, I'm presuming the aboves are provided as authentic items.
Here is an authentic burt from my inventory which is all over the place. Appears he has some differning signing styles.
Do we know if he used "secretarials" and if so, does anyone have any examples?

What's up DB....I have also heard John Travolta TTM signatures are secretarial's....I personally never wrote to him...but at the same time I never seen an authentic one either...so to make a comparison of the 2 unfortunately is something I can not provide...I got to contact Mike...if he has not posted it here already...hes got him many times in person..
