Authenticity is Everything
Ozzy Osbourne patient number 9 insert autograph
Hello, I just managed to buy ozzy's new cd with autograph insert (brand new in local CD shop). I do not know much about autographs, so I would appreciate when someone would check the authenticity. It looks hand signed with the pen, but I can't tell if it is realy signed by Ozzy. If you need better photos from different angles just say.

This looks absolutely fine to me.
Your third photograph is the best, btw. In almost every circumstance, you really want to show autographs directly from above, rather than at oblique angles.

I read about some affair with autopen with the cd before (ordinary man) and was quite scared.
I only tried to ask one cd-shop and they had last one left on one their stone shop and sent it to me, so I am super lucky to buy it.
Ok, good to know. I just tried to add also more close detail pictures from different angeles too.

Ozzy has previous with autopen, so many here were cynical in advance of the last album, but they turned out to be the real deal.
The thing with angled photographs is that they tend to distort the view of the autograph. It’s difficult to assess the authenticity of a signature when you can’t see it from the perpendicular perspective.
Here is my Ozzy for comparison. He used a couple of different pens for these, including the finer tip example used for your copy.

Mine is a good one, I think. I got a slightly more legible version of his surname than is typical these days.
With regard to resale value and investment, I’m not an Ozzy expert, but sold eBay listings are your best yardstick in this instance. Between £30 and £40 looks about right. Buying another isn’t going to make you rich in the future, but you certainly won’t lose money should you come to sell it.

Yes, yours one maybe look little bit better, but I am rather music than autograph fan. So I am just happy to have something what Ozzy had in his hand and do not care about the quality off signature or something like that so much..
I firstly bought it just to keep it (I will frame this one and put in on my wall). But now it seems there is a chance one local shop will restock them for "retail" price (converted about £20). So I am considering to buy more off them to sell in future.
This is a good idea to list the sold items on ebay. I did't know baout that option. Thats great. I just tried to look at offers (but didn't know if somebody buy it).

I ordered this one a while back. I've always been on the lookout for an Ozzy autograph. I read a lot about the autopen thing with the ordinary man album..and I am pretty confident this one is real and not autopen..but who knows.
