Ted Williams auto 2nd time charm?

Hello all.  

So my first auto purchase of a mantle was a debacle.

looking for a more concrete authenticated auto, how about this Ted Williams?  What do you guys think?

UD sticker on magazine matches the folded coa sticker, I tried using the online authentication look up UD has but it says signatures before 2002 are not on the online file.  This seller emailed UD and asked about authentication he showed me the emails mind you this could easily be forged but this is where I’m at. 

looking for my first real auto here I thought this one looked good but you would know better

Yes, he signed these for Upper Deck.  I ordered three of them in the early 90’s.  No worries, 100% authentic!
