It is definetly messy enough to be Joes signature. The guitar is beautiful regardless though, i really like the Joe Perry Boneyard editions. I am not really good enough to say, but here are a few authentic examples i have. The one signed in blue paint pen has been PSA certified and the second is a group signed shot that is authentic.
