Muhammad Ali signed novelty million dollar bills

Hi everyone. I am new to the memorabilia world. I have some signed Muhammad Ali notes. I am 99% sure they are authentic. I have held onto them for years. Could anyone please direct me to the right channels to get started as far as getting paperwork?

Thank you.

If you want them authenticated, get them authenticated by PSA/JSA/Beckett. They’re the most trusted autograph authentication companies by far.

Thank you Tim.

If you want to mitigate the risk of losing hundreds of dollars on auth fees, you can post pics here for a pre-assessment. A number of us are very well well-versed in Ali and can help prevent you submitting items that are likely to fail.

Here is one sample.

You posted the (unsigned) front of the bill.

Here is the signed side from your user profile picture.

Assuming this is live ink, which it looks like it is, I see no issues with this and am confident it would pass a formal authentication. In about 2003, Ali started using an autopen on a small, pre-printed photos, but did occasionally respond with genuine sigs.

This particular style signature is consistent with his 1999 penmanship, pretty much the very last year his style was long and legible. Around 2000 or 2001, he started signing in a more compressed, choppy style.

That’s what I was thinking too. I have about eight of these and each one of them has a unique signature. It doesn’t look like they were printed at all. That must be relevant I am guessing.

Well that's good news!

Maybe start by getting one authenticated before spending the money on all of them?

My only suggestion is to avoid authentication stickers.  I'd go with a letter or encapsulation.

Many thanks for your help everyone.

I see that the copyright date on the front of the bill is 1999.

I'm not sure but I thought he had stopped signing through the mail before then.  Any idea where these were obtained?
