despite being a Yankee fan, I still liked some of the Sox players, Tony C., Yaz, Petrocelli, etc. it really wasn’t much of a rivalry in the mid 60’s. A while ago I was watching a YouTube video on Tony and they showed a clip of a Homerun he hit at Yankee Stadium and I remembered being at the game. The main reason I remembered being there was because Tom Tresh, playing left field went back to the fence which was very short in height and balanced himself on his stomach on top of it in an effort to make the play.
