Christopher Lloyd - BTTF Comic - Need Opinion on Signature Stroke
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased this Back to the Future comic on eBay UK for a very low price. It does not have a COA. The seller stated it was signed in-person but is refusing to provide any details about the specific event or year.
I am strongly considering returning it because the stroke structure looks incorrect to me. Specifically, if you look at my close-up photo, the top line of the "t" passes under the "h". From my understanding of his authentic signatures, the "t" is almost always crossed last.
The seller told me that because of his age, his signature is declining and he sometimes "does the 't' when he wants".
I know his signature has gotten much sloppier in recent years, but does this specific structural flaw (t crossed under h) look like a natural variation of an aging signer, or is this a clear forgery?
I have an open return request on eBay and would greatly appreciate your expert opinions before I send it back. Thank you!

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to check the exemplars and for sharing your expertise. I really appreciate it, and it definitely confirms my suspicions! Just as a quick update, I pushed the eBay seller for details and he finally replied with this excuse: "It was 2017 at the london film comic con with a monster que." What are your thoughts on this? Could a highly rushed setting at LFCC 2017 ever justify that kind of incorrect stroke structure (the 't' under the 'h'), or does it just sound like a classic forger's excuse to you? Also, I noticed that this exact same seller has just relisted another signed BTTF comic. I have attached the photo of this second comic below. I would love to know if you spot the same red flags and forgery traits on this one as well! Thanks again for all your help!
