Brian Wilson's assistant, Jeff Foskett has been signing for Brian when he takes stuff on the bus, backstage or anywhere that Brian can't be seen.  I have put up here some examples of Jeff's version of Brian's signature so if you got burned you will know.  Don't get anything signed by Brian on this tour unless he is standing in front of you.

These are what the ones that he is doing in person on this tour look like.  Quite different don't you think?

Please delete.

Here is a Brian Wilson that I got in person at the Houston Airport last night, ok there's an Al jardine I got too.

Al did 2 for me but these guys are all pretty burnt out.  I wouldn't even approach Bruce becuase he has been so bad lately.  Luckily I didn't need him.

Roger, just to clarify - are all the Brian Wilson signatures you have posted Jeffs version?

Also, how did you find out he was signing for Brian?

Are the signed items sometimes for sale at Brians concerts and/or available from his web-site likely to be genuine?

Thanks

Well done Rog, it just is The Beatles 62 63 and 64 revisited !

At the end of the day thru the mail or handed in at the stage door does not mean the items are authentic

In person means signed in front of you !

Why do people get this wrong ?

thanks for the heads up mate

Gary

Can I ask a question ?

These items seceterially signed as indicted by Roger have been passed as Authentic by PSA

Who is the Authenticator for this company ?

Will they withdraw the Authentification ?

The PSA has been receiving bad press in England on their appraisal of Soccer Autographs which were for sale in R and R auction recently ( Brazil Shirt )

When questioned R and R pulled the items

Who is their Appraiser for Soccer Autographs also

Im a little bit suprised at this, i know I live in England and Im not in the loop with the PSA people, so can anyone please give me some info

Thanks

Gary

Gary,

FREAK

You are missing the problem; it doesn't matter who authenticated it to them; it's a production line!  How many can we get out right or wrong!!!  Gary, remember when you and I were at the Royal Albert Hall and I broke down Jimmy page to sign my album that had Bonzo on it; they said it was fake?!!!  You were standing next to me when I got it signed and you got your 45 single signed.  Joe Orlando called me a liar.  My ex boss called me a liar.  The guy I used to authenticate music autographs for said it was not real and even double checked it and said it wasn't!  I got it myself and you witnessed it.

It doesn't matter to PSA as they cover their butts with some long lawyer BS to cover their a****.  It's all about the money to them.  You and I are different, that's why we have been friends for so long.  We care about the collector not the money.  Sure the money is nice but it's not what its all about.

As to Tim's question; yes they sold many tour programs for $100 each with a fake Brian Wilson signature signed by his assistant.  It's just awful and that jerk could care less.  I hope someone sues them for fraud>  I would be happy to testify that the Brian Wilson signatures are fake.

Thanks. Interesting about the tour programs - but how do you know it is Jeff's work? Has someone seen him signing?

I've never seen him do it in front of me but I have seen him take things on to the bus that only he and Brian are on and they came out signed and they weren't signed by Brian.

Ever call Foskett out on it?  Probably not worth the trouble.

Is Brian put-off when approached for an autograph?

Foskett could care less.

I wasz talking to Al Jardine at baggage claim here in Houston and he told me that Brian kind of freaks out when people pop up everywhere in large groups.  Brian did sign for me one item when he got off the plane, I was the only one there.
