Maybe I've been thinking way too much on this, but I have a copy of Jethro Tull's Thick As A Brick signed by Ian Anderson.  It's never been played and has rarely been handles.  Does the fact that it just celebrated it's 40 year anniversary, the release of  Thick As A Brick 2 and Jethro Tull is currently touring to promote it, make it more valuable now?

Hi dennis,

Im not sure what the albums signed by Jethro Tull command, but  i recently purchased a signed tour program off ebay that included the signatures of 4 out of the 5 band members, and actually got it for like 40 dollars. The signatures are authentic and passed psa so im not sure exactly what happened as far as it not going for more, as i thought an item like that would be around 150 or so dollars. It could be because the search image was just for the cover of the program and didnt show any signatures, and he had it listed in a category that may not have gotten him many views. But i was thrilled to get it, all i wanted was Martin Barre and ended up getting some other great sigs. I personally think its worth more than the price i payed for it, but i cant say for sure. On yours, I would take a wild guess and say that it might fetch slightly more than it would in a normal market, but not by much, maybe an extra 10 to 20 dollars if you found the right buyer. If it was of the whole band on a greatest hits album or on a live album, or something like that, that people could associate with the 40th anniversary, it probably would bring a little more. Ive thought the same things about bands who hit anniversaries, but it seems that the album values really dont climb much past normal unless its like their last year touring. I could be wrong though and you might want to wait for more opinions, but i would say its roughly worth what it normally would be, but you might get a little more if you could find the right person.

Hope this helps and here are a few pics of the program i picked up.
