Mick Jagger was a special guest on David Letterman tonight, and he came out and read a Top 10 list. It was about the "Top 10 things I learned after my 50 years in rock n roll."
Some of the things on the list included:
If somebody has a song called 'Moves Like Jagger' you don't make a cent from it.
Sure, the royalties are nice...but nothing brings in the cash faster than a reverse mortgage.
If you're gonna say "Hello, Seattle"....make sure you're actually in Seattle.
I got into rock n roll for the sex and the drugs. Now...I have to take drugs just so I can rock, and so I can have sex (that was the #1).
Of course, for autograph collectors, the best line was this one: Every 10th autograph, I sign the name "Doris Goldblatt"
