I wanted to give the autograph collectors a christmas tale so here it is if you ever wanted to know what happens behind the scenes of hunters,chasers,hounds,graffers THIS IS IT.

My journey Begin on Sunday early hours approx 2am I boarded a bus that will take me from Manchester to London and the ride was 6 long hrs. I got a tip saying the Dwarfs would be arriving on sunday noon and so I had to make sure am In london to begin My quest.

Note it was -5 and at time I did compare with Rudolf the reindeer no matter how many t shirts or jumpers I had on me , But this is what I do and I do it best.

After arriving in london at 8am I went for a quick bite and then went straight to the Hotel were I knew they would stay. Not long after that they started to arrive one by one or two by two, Depending if they were coming from New Zealand, Usa , Canada or the UK.

No one knew what to expect as most the cast almost 75% of them were never seen before and no one knew what to expect and not only that , But you had Bald people in the film that had hair from head to tow , You had Slim people that were Fat as an elephant in the film and then you had some that were 6 foot tall and looked like 2 foot in the film .

I Manage to get 3 Oscar Winners Peter Jackson , Dan Hennah and Phillipa Boyens

I also manage to get some of the main cast like Ian Mckellen , Cate Blanchett , Andy Serkis and then over 14 other names but all this not in a day but in 5 day and nights which I did 8am on most mornings till 3 am this little dwarfs and wizzards are real piss heads (British Expresion for drunks) Ask James Nesbitt who is a major Arse (Note capital A).

Autograph and big movies change people and sometimes to the worst , You see people that they are no one and I mean not a soul on earth know who they are become the biggest stars (well thats what they think) Not us.

I could go on for days and days but I thought its best to break down the cast members one by one and that way you get a behind the scenes feel on each character otherwise this could turn into a novel.

PETER JACKSON( Director Oscar Winner) Peter has always been a nice person he dont like to sign photos of him looking fat but apart from that he is cool and will always sign one per person the good thing is his guard is the famous Israeli who is a pro and handles Icons such as De Niro , Pacino , Ford etc so things run more smooth.

PHILLIPA BOYENS (Writter and Oscar winer) Extremely hard she runs faster than Usain Bolt and if she gets blocked she signs one and makes an escape dont matter if there is one person or 200 she will only do 1 signature and vanish like a flash.

DAN HENNAH (Oscar Winner) Nice guy signed for fun.

CHRIS HENNAH Nice lady she also signed when ever her husband did which was always.

CAROLYNNE CUNNINGHAM (Producer) Another lovely lady all the way through. 

IAN MCKELLEN (Gundalf) Ian has been doing this a long time so he knows the score he does one each and dedicates mostly so we try and pre dedicate ourselves so it is easy to remove the name later.

CATE BLANCHETT (Galadriel) Very tough signer and not easy to find first time I have seen her in almost 4 years , She is not a fan of the autographs either only time she turned up was at the premiere at and no other event to promote the film.

ANDY SERKIS (Gollum) Andy is a legend there are not many nice peeople like him, He is an old fashioned lad and stills acts that way fame did not go to his head he remains a gent.

MARTIN FREEMAN (Bilbo) Well he begins the downhill of the cast Martin has been TV famous in the UK for donkeys(a long time) And he used to sign but this has now changed him were he used to sign full name you will be lucky to get a MR , He used kitchen doors , back doors side exits he was as slippery as a snake in the 5 days I was around the guy was an illusion.

RICHARD ARMITAGE (Thorin) Well very dissapointed in this guy he was a no one and still is no one and he acts like is De NIRO he had one of the most nasty security guys on the planet this american Kiwi looking guy that is attached to Zac Effron who has 1000s of fans chasing on a daily basis so to think he feels he needs to have him and another one for himself were he is not known or recognised yet, I fear the worse in the near future.

KEN STOTT (BALIN) Nice guy loves to swear and has a laugh with you great guy known actor for many years he has been in films for 40 years.

GRAHAM McTAVISH (Dwalin) A huge guy takes no s*** lol after all he was the baddy in Rambo, But he was more than happy to sign one and sometimes two.

WILLIAM KIRCHER (Bifur/ Tom Troll) The nicest guy from the KIWI clan great guy.

JAMES NESBITT (Bofur) Should have been called a baffon but hey maybe it means that in latin, This guy is an arse and a half he has always been for years horrible piss head my nose was red from the cold but his was red everyday from the free bars, Really horrid person.

STEPHEN HUNTER (Bombur) Tough signer not a fan of the autographs on the 2nd day started to dedicate everything and make a run for it when ever he could and use side exits etc.

DEAN O'GORMAN (Fili) Another tough one weird how can people who are not famous act like famous it is so weird.

AIDAN TURNER (KILI) I believe this lad was nice but the security were all over him like butter on a toast so it was hard to get him but he was ok when you could get to him.

JOHN CALLEN (Oin) Great man nice guy did not mind even though at times it got manic.

PETER HAMBLETON (Gloin/William Troll) Super tough signer this guy will be great for conventions you can tell he will be perfect as he looks the type that loves the $$$$$$$.

JED BROPHY (Nori) My favourite guy of the bunch such a gent had convo and spoke everytime nice guy I wish he gets bigger he deserves it from his character.

MARK HADLOW (Dori/Bert Troll) He was nice when you could get to him but always hanged in packs so they all loved to play with us and cheat us at times, but still a good person.

ADAM BROWN (Ori) Very shady, sneacky and very weird he is another one that I think will be in autograph conventions soon he was very very odd.

IAN HOLM (Bilbo) Great man sad to see him like that he looked like time has caught up with him but was still nice enough when conditions allowed it.

SYLVESTER McCOY (Radagast) Famous in the UK for a very long time as a Dr Who , But was nice enough to sign every time he was asked.

And so we have come to the end so I manage to get some real nice bits but I slaved for 5 full days what I did realise though is that some of this new actors will be impossible to get in a years time when they come back for the next Hobbit next christmas , So for now I save the memorries and I share them with you.
