I bought this several years ago because it looked interesting.
All four Beatles signatures etched onto a 2"x3" metal plate (maybe aluminum).

I'm not suggesting that this plate was hand signed, but the signatures appear to be technically correct for around 1964.

These signatures are "almost" identical to the ones used on the base of the Car Mascots Beatles Nodders.

There are no other marking on the the plate, front or back.

Anyone have an idea what this might have been used for?

They appear to secreterial signatures. Maybe it is some kind of stamp?or part of a licenced product.

These were the autographs that were stamped on the Beatles bubblegum cards put out by Topps in early 1964...and a ton of Beatles memorabilia put out by different companies in 1964...

Great lead.

I looked up the Topps cards and you are right.  The signatures on this plate appear to be identical to the ones use on the cards.  I'll have to check other memorabilia now.

If it were some type of stamp, wouldn't the image be reversed?

I still feel the signatures are accurate.

I'm still wondering what it might have been used for.
