Anyone know anything about what Jimmy is doing these days? Online information about him has dropped off over the last 10 years.

Also, I would love to have his auto for my collection. Too bad I have never heard of him signing post 1960's.

Hi Chad.

If you would like to know what happened to Jimmie Nicol, you may want to check out the new book about his life and career. It is called: The Beatle Who Vanished. It covers his life and career from birth to the present. The website is: www.thebeatlewhovanished.com

There are examples of Nicol's autographs illustrated in the book, along with the handwritten set list created by Neil Aspinall for the first show of The Beatles first world tour, used by Jimmie on that tour.

Jim,

Thank you for the reply. I added your book to my wishlist on amazon and plan to buy it next time I make an order.

Is his autograph available in any way other than from his time with the Beatles? I never see it unless it is with the group. Andy White on the other hand accomodates requests and has slightly less noteriety than Jimmie. It would have seemed most people in his position would have tried to profit from the experience.

Hi Chad:

Thanks for adding my book, The Beatle Who Vanished, to your wishlist at amazon. Jimmie Nicol's autograph is available mostly from his Beatles and post-Beatles period. There are few times that he was asked for his autograph before The Beatles. One example I have seen was on a George Fame & the Blue Flames album. This was the band he played with in London when The Beatles called him. He did not play on the Flames album but he signed it. I have an example of a business card he signed after The Beatles, with his solo band, Jimmie Nicol and The Shubdubs. And he signed many autographs in 1984 at the Holland Beatles Fest. His one and only appearance at a Beatles convention. These autographs are featured in the book!  You can try www.tracks.co.uk . They are a reliable company for rare Beatles autographs or look for them on Ebay or Ebay.co.uk  Good luck! Jim

Hi,

I have this autograph since many years, could you be interrested to it?

I’m French Canadian, so please excuse any grammatical or spelling mistakes.

Thanks

Hi Sylvain, could you include a scan of the actual signed, photo?
