Id like some input and feedback on this Wizard of Oz signed piece.
The signatures must have been from the page of a autograph book. It appears they are all signed in colored pencil.
I have done much comparing with what I see out there and I believe it to be authentic. It is hard to get a good photo from this piece since the signatures are quite light.
I bought this direct from an older collector maybe 10 yrs ago.
Thanks for any input.

ANYONE?
Not being an Oz collector, or especially knowledgable about the signatures (other than recognizing what they should generally look like), maybe this insight is not that helpful. But my impression is that it's such an unlikely piece. Did the cast ever do some sort of a reunion before some of the principal cast began passing away? Otherwise, getting those autographs on the same piece of paper, with what looks to be the same set of colored pencils, would have been quite a feat back in the day.
I'm far from an expert on these either, but I agree with what Rich said and will also add that to me, these look like they were all hastily signed by the same hand.
Before commenting..Has anyone actually compared these with actual signature styles from these actors?
I have researched and looked side by side and In my somewhat intermediate opinion they look VERY MUCH like the authentic signatures. Compare Billie Burke with a signed Billie photo..then compare Margaret Hamilton next to an authentic Margaret Hamilton and so on and so on. Then come back and tell me please.
I am an artist.. so I have a pretty good eye.. and I think they all look DARN good. As far as using colored pencils.. maybe it was on the set.. or maybe at the premier.. don't rule it OUT just because they used colors..maybe a set designer or costume designer had the pencils backstage.. Now let's compare them to the actual signers and tell me what you think. That's fair right..
You asked for feedback and you were given it. It wasn't what you wanted to hear, so you're dismissive of it. That's fine, but now that dexter kindly posted the signed book for easy comparison, I can say that your item does not match up favorably with it at all, IMO.
I was about to ask where that was from!
Most Oz collections I've seen are separately signed items (checks, cuts, album pages) matted together to form a cast signed piece.
The Judy Garland and Jack Haley are definitely not right for me and I would say they are fake.
No not dismissive..BUT I needed something to go on besides the color of the tool they were signed with.
Thank you for more info and input.
