I was given this by a family friend, a signed menu from his restaurant in California. Apparently these are common, and I'm told sometimes his sister did the signing. Any ideas if I have a legit or fake autograph? Thanks for the input.

I believe that to be authentic Joan.

I agree with Ryan, that is an authentic signature.  His sister's signatures normally ended up with a horizontal line after the "o" in Dimaggio.

The "g"'s and the D looks good to me in my opinion.  Everything looks nice a fluid no shakiness.  Looks nice!

Thanks for the opinions. I'm kind of new to this, how much do you think it would cost to get it graded? And is it worth it?

If you are trying to sell it, it might increase the value but there are so many DiMaggio signatures out there that this would not be a high value item.  its your call.

To get it authenticated by PSA/DNA or JSA it would cost $100 at least. As Terrier said, Joe D sigs are everywhere and I doubt being graded would add $100+ value to this particular piece. I would be interested in purchasing this piece from you. I added you as a friend on here, shoot me a message with what you want for it and we can talk.

an authentic jd sig for reference
