Autograph sellers Autograph Store and Autograph World

Hi all

Have  anybody any experience or opinion on these 2 autograph-sellers?

I went through their catalogs, and looks like a lot of questionable issues. Autograph Store also say they do their own authentication, but the methods seems a a little questionable to me..

Two very different sellers at opposite ends of the spectrum.  I'll summarize it concisely:  Autograph World - Very good.  Autograph Store -  Very Bad.

Agreed. I've bought from both in the past, certainly made a mistake on the autograph store one. They are not good at all. All fakes in my opinion.

I actually haven't looked at Autograph Store's website in a while, but now I'm starting to wonder if they're the originator of one of the most common Bono forgeries you'll see in this hobby.  Looks like the forger is now trying to make it look like a rushed example by abruptly stopping the signature earlier than they used to.  It's not disguising anything.

Autograph World is one of the most reputable sellers of autographed items on the internet.

Authenticity and Honesty is what you will find when buying items from them at all times.

Hi Bob.

I looked some more on both of the one I mentioned over, and I think you are right,Autograph World looks quite good.

Autograph Store on the other hand looks really bad. Funny, they guarantee that all their autographs are obtained in-person. That must be a very wrong statement.

Yeah, any way you look at this (whether they're getting their stock from forgers or they themselves are the forgers), that "in-person" claim is a lie.

I agree with everything said 1000 percent. Autograph World is great and i purchase from them regularly. I have also returned several items that in the past, and they went above and beyond to pay for everything such as shipping all the way around. They are great, but i stress to always research the item in question before purchasing. In the past i have more or less bought blindly from several sellers b/c of their reputation, and that wasnt the correct course of action. But AW are very trustworthy.

Autograph STore.............what can you say about them. Their are probably more threads on them on this site and on the net than just about any other place that sells nothing but fakes in my opinion. I really dont think i have ever seen one item from them that was authentic. . They have a never ending supply of beatles signed stuff, Nirvana, and every other rare name on the planet.

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that even Chris Morales and Drew Max wouldnt cert their crap.

For example right now you can buy:

Paul Mc and Ringo signed photo for 135 dollars

Eric Clapton for 15 dollars

and Chuck Berry for 15 dollars.   And that was just in the first 15 items i looked at. lol. What a joke of a business. I cant believe the feds havent nailed them yet.

Agreed. How can they always have something of McCartney? We all know he's very tough and probably the most expensive signature of any living celeb right now. Even if someone were lucky to get a few, you would NEVER let it go for a hundred bucks or so.
