I would like to challenge you and ask, if you think, that the autographs at the attached files are true or fake.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.

All 3 LP looks like they were signed by the same hand!! Pretty bad!

Thanks, other opinions ?

IMO fakes....

thx for sharing your point of view. I hope some more will comment, besides I admit, it's tricky :-) Same pen, such a quality, perfect located......let's see what others think

all crap ....

thx Bruce. The trend is not my friend :-(

OK guys, here comes the story

The autographs are genuine. I collected them myself back in January 1979. It was just before the concert of Queen in Bremen/Germany. I was 15 years old, from Hamburg, ca. 80 km away from Bremen, and without permission of my parents I hitchhiked with my friend Michelle to Bremen - we were (are) big Queen fans. We found out where the band was staying, a hotel, that I don't remember the name. btw. I had to tell my parents a story, that I am going to stay for the night at the house of my friend in Hamburg, but he told me, he doesn't approve, and if my parents would ask him, he would tell the truth. OK, my parents didn't know and only years after I told my parents hwat happened that day.

It was a freezing night and me and my friend were staying outside the hotel all night and almost suffered severe problems because of the temperatures until the doorman of the hotel was so kind to let us in to warm up. Later he told one of the managers of Queen about these crazy kids and when the band came down for having breakfast they were so kind to meeting with us, chatting with us and signing all our LPs that we have carried with us. John and Freddie were more calm, Brian was talking more and Roger was a great chap. Cool guy.

After the concert, the driver of Queen  drove us back (with the Queen limousine) to the highway for hitchhiking back to Hamburg (and he told us, John was also gay, not only Freddie) and we had the 2 greatest days of our live.

This story is so much true as my love to my family. I am now 49 years old and I will never ever forget this experience.

Today, when I read this news about the Beatles LP that has been sold for a fortune and my wife told me, sell yours as well. OK, it would never reach such an amount and I think, I would not sell them...maybe one of them...so, that brougth me to the idea to ask some experts about their opinion.

So, I registered here...sorry for the experts, that thougth, it's fake.

It's not.

cheers,

Hassan

Goes to show alot of people are here are very quick to judge in favor of not genuine. I've thought about posting items I know are real too just to get a kick out of some comments.

Thx for your comment. Well, I didn't want to blame people, but I was curious if "experts" would recognize true autographs or not. In fact, they are quite perfect and as there are very rare similar examples I even understand that people are suspicious. It's just, that I know, they are real. My wife even told me, I should better take care of them. They are mixed up with all my other LPs and I even don't have any protection...I should think about it :-)

even better. some years ago (10 or 11) a friend of mine, also a Queen fan, got married and I gave him one of my covers. It was the Jazz cover, with all autographs, but without the record itself - I received a spare from one of the Queen team members - and he appreciated it, without understanding the value of it. One of these days, I will tell him, that I saw some auctions in the net where the value could be more than 1000 Eur. Now he will recognize the value of my present :-)

Just to complete my story. Here are the remaining covers.

Great story and lucky you to have all those signed albums ! I still think they don't look like the usual Queen signatures.... But that doesn't really matter if you know they are real ! Having said that you might struggle  a bit if you want to sell them for big money... In my opinion...
