Some of my recent self obtained autographs.... / Robert Cray, Steve Miller, Skynyrd.....

Hi there again,

So, lets start this - here I´m going to show some of my recently self-obtained autographs.

First one is a Steve Miller autograph. I know he does have a very nice signature. Well in Munich, Oct, 30 there was no chance to catch him up before the show and I´ve heard from the promoter, that he will leave right after the show for airport. So only way - after the show at the stage. And yes, alot of fans where there and wanted to get their ticket stub signed. I´ve had that Joker album with me and he catched that one up first. Very - sad - he did not wrote his full signature - just that, yes - aweful "curve". I was a little disapointed, as he wrote his full name to some tickets... anyway, It´s now MY Steve Miller and my only one.

YESSS! Just came back from Joe Bonamassa Concert here in Munich! Damn! I did not expect that this guy is so hard to collect these days! Sold out show at the Munich "small" Olympic Hall. About 2500 fans there. I had a free ticket and was able to ask the tourmanager about the scheduling. "Joe will not sign anything and will leave the venue right after the show" was his statement. Well so i decidet to went outside to the backstage entry right before the encore and yes - a van already stood there to catch up the band. I asked the driver and he said yes, Joe will come out soon. Two more autograph collectors came and I thought well - that wont get easy. After 5 min the backstage door opened and Joe came out with alot of other guys and someone who I think it was some kind of an bodyguard. Well I holded the new album / vinyl into the air and asked Joe if he would sign it. He said - "sorry guys, just got someone on the line/phone". But than he said - O.K. come on, lets do some - but NO PHOTOS. He only signed 2 vinyls for me - and for the other two guys waiting ea one item. Than his bodyguard turned in and said - stop now. Well - just two items signed, but I´m very proud of my first Bonamassa signatures.... check it out:

Great how Joe's career has taken off.

I recall about 2004 or 2005 he did a free mini-show at the old Tower Records @ 66th & Broadway.

He probably would have been happy to sign anything.

Finally got THE DARKNESS! Yesterday in Munich! Increadible show and it wasn´t that easy this time, too. Waited long after the concert and Tourmanager said that curvew will be at about 1:00 in the night. Also they will not come out before because the guys recording demos/songs for their next album (WOW!), It was already late and I asked him if he can take some items backstage. And yes - got me two items signed and dedicated by the Darkness. I´ve attached some live shoots here from yesterdays concert, too. Oh and support band was the Ginger Wildheart band - got them all signed the CD and Ginger to sign the Michael Monroe - last album....

The Darkness - the latest album HOT CAKES / vinyl and the tourbook of One Way Ticket To Hell.... and Back Tour 2006

Ginger Wildheart Band:

Hi again - want to share my SCORPIONS collection with you! The Scorpions always been something very Special for me. I´ve just began 5 - 6 years ago to collect them. As I´m living in Munich and Herman Rarebel does live near my house door, I´ve started with him. Until today I ´ve had lots of 1:1 meetings with him during the last years - he is a very nice guy. Matthias got an own guitar shop in Munich. All you have to do is call the Boss in the shop and ask him when Matthias will be in. So thats it. I was able to collect all the other band members of the Scopions at different Locations - venues, and Hotels. I´m very proud of my signed bootleg collection of the Scorpions. My experience - If you have one to sign the album, the others will do so, too. Matthias once mentioned, that he do not sign bootlegs. But as he was the only one missing, he signed it. Check out the pics - what you see here are some of my very own personal Highlights - will never let these go! Oh, this is just a small part of my Scorpions/Michael Schenker collection......

that Beauty has been sold at the Matthias Jans shop in Munich....  sure sold out now....

Herman once told me that he place his signature ALWAYS on the drums of the WWW Album. I recently have seen a signe WWW Album of the Scorpions at EBAY with fakes....

Some updates.....

catched up Steve Lukather April 20, 2013 in Munich!! Yes!

beautiful signed Vinyls.....

Update: Michael Schenker / Munich May 5, 2013

Michael was not that easy - catched him up before the soundcheck. He arrived at about 17:00 at the venue and some other collectors have been waiting outside the venue. As he came along he said only one signeature ea and no photos! Well, my son was with me and I gave him two Albums. Michael signed both for my son and only one Vinyl for me and then he recognized that William Shatner Vinyl box - Michael played on one song of that album. Michael never saw that Vinyl box before and he asked me if he could take the box into the venue to Show it to the other guys. I agreed but I´ve said - only if you sign it afterwards. 10 minutes later he came out of the venue and signed all other Albums I´ve had with me incl. that box..... but again - no photos.

YES! Last week I was able to collect Bonnie Raitt here in Munich- just one item was allowed, but now I have a signed Vinyl Album from Bonnie!

I was told that Bonnie does only give autographs incl. dedication..

also signed by Hutch Hutchinson and former Beach Boys Drummer Ricky Fataar

yesterday I was able to get some George Thorogood autographs. WOW - no photos allowed with him - he only give autgraphs..... well, nevertheless two beautiful Vinyls - signes also by original Destroyers Billy Blough (bass) and Jeff Simon (drums)

Jeff Simon:

me with Billy Blough

Last week in Munich - Roger Hodgson!

Here some of my Allmans self obtained autographs - sadly I wasn´t able yet to get Gregg. He is rarelly coming to Munich or to Germany for Shows. His signature is surely missing badly on These Vinyls, too.

The Seven Turns Vinyl LP - I really love that Album - my favorite Allman Song is included "Let Me Ride". This one hase been signed by Johnny Neel, Dickey Betts and Duane Betts. Duane played on that Album - it was his debut Performance on an Album! So I thought it would be a good idea to let him sign that one, too. I hope I will catch up Warren Haynes soon again to sign that one, too. And maybe one day - Gregg Allman...

This is a rare Vinyl (!) Version of Shades of Two Worlds - signed by Warren Haynes and Dickey Betts

This one is a Dickey Betts Album - catched him up some years ago - and that one has also been signed by Duane Betts, his son. Very cool one.

Some News - had the Chance to catch FOREIGNER last week!

me with Kelly:

got Kelly to sign that HURRICANE Vinyl LP

only 3 of the band signed the Vinyl LP, but it Looks cool, anyway and Mick is included!

I´ve brought that cool poster - #100/100 before the Show in Rosenheim and was able to get some of the band to sign that one - Looks pretty cool now framed in my living room

yesterday I was able to collect Mothers Finest - 2 fully signed LPs.... I had interview after the sold out Show. Awesome band and very nice to the fans!
