I bought this 23 years ago from Tom Platt (R.I.P) and I've stashed it away because I don't think it's legit. The Ringo could be real but the McCartney is like nothing I've ever seen. I bought this when I was just starting in the hobby and was not savvy on Paul's signature. I guess I was in denial for a awhile and thought because the Ringo looked legit, that the Paul must be 'rushed'. I'm no longer in denial.

I'd like to know what you folks think...Tx

fakes... above

"both" :-) - not "above"

I agree with you about the Paul, and don't like the Ringo either. Sorry. It appears as though they were both signed by the same person.

I'm confident that they are both fakes.

I wonder how many times a fake item gets bought & sold. Scary thought...

I would not buy it.

I'm sorry you got taken.

Chad - it was 23 years ago and the dealer is deceased, So much for that Lifetime COA! lol

I'm of the opinion that dead people who sold known fakes should be disinterred so they can be publicly shamed. Perhaps a trial like that of Pope Formosus where they dug him up, dressed him up and held a public trial called the "Cadaver Synod".

It might not stop the con artists but it would be a heck of a lot of fun!
