Bruce Springsteen Autographed and Handwritten setlist - Legit or Fake?

I know nothing about the characteristics of a Springsteen autograph, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Looking on google, I think this is a fake, but I'm not familiar with all his possible types of signatures. I'm also unsure about his writing but the song order seems to be about right; that is obviously something easily forged though haha.

Can someone pleaseee help me haha

Just an FYI - someone asked about this item months ago:

http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/bruce-springsteen-si...

It didn't look like anyone had anything too conclusive back then.  If it's still on the market, there's a decent chance that something ain't right with it (or the price is too darned high).

I agree with Rich, its something that does not add up with this one. The setlist may be ok, but it looks like a copy?  Difficult to see, but wouldn't surprise me if it is.

When it comes to the signature, I will say thumbs down. The "B" is very suspicious, I have never seen it look like that. I would stay clear of this item.

Thanks guys, should really have used the search function first haha.

The seller told me the setlist is authentic and written by him, here are some more pictures. The Springsteen auto looks "similar" to me to others on google and I've seen tons of variations of them so I'm really no expert. Just wondering if I should buy this piece.

On the first photo, there's a very faint "Letter N Label" watermark type of thing. Anyone know what means?

Hi Mike, its correct that someone usually handwrites his setlists. I know it was himself in older days, not sure if its the same today. Maybe someone in this forum knows more?

I don't think I would trust to google his signature, b/c the results you get there are of course both the legit ones, and all the fakes out on the net. The reason I don't like the signature on this setlist is that the "B" is totally off, also compared to his newer ones.

Here are a couple of legit examples of his newer signature. The "B" is not similar at all, the rest is more like yours. So, if yours is a legit one, he has done something unusual in the start..hehe.

hmmmm I googled bruce springsteen setolisy and it appears someone hand writes his.

That looks like a horrible forgery of Bruce's autograph. Bruce still handwrites the setlist and it is then photocopied to give to the band and techs, etc. FYI, most of his handwritten setlists can be printed off of his official website, brucespringsteen.net

Hi there ! I wouldn't worry too much about this one as the signature, real or not, is on the top of the writing and makes it difficult to read and not very nice to look at. In my opinion, as always !

Yeah, I was thinking that if the setlist is authentic, I'd almost rather not have it signed - especially if he's just going to scribble over it.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a little "follow-up." I sent in the photos to Roger who said the autograph looks good but thinks the setlist is a copy. I have no idea about the validity of the setlist but I too thought the autograph was real -- there a lot of similar looking ones on eBay from this time period. This seems to be his "less detailed" autograph. The seller also tells me that the setlist is a definitely not a copy so I'll go and see it in real life to look at it myself.

Mike

Did you see the set list in real Life? There list is now on E-bay but not mounted anymore......

I offered the seller what he was asking for, but he refused and said he's just gonna list it on eBay. I also asked for a picture of the back of the setlist and he didnt send one.
