I've seen many Derek Jeter signatures over the years, some are god awful and pretty obvious forgeries that people try to sell but over the past year and a half or so I've seen this style of Jeter being authenticated by JSA more and more. I'm very interested in the thoughts of the other Jeter experts. On the second photo not only is the Jeter Bad but the Arod is bad too and James Spence somehow thought they were good and even signed off on the full JSA letter.

No Mike they sign on the panel of specialty baseballs because they are more valuable.
CeeGee, I'm curious to hear what you think about the "D"? His "D" is almost droopy and rarely big and round. His "D" usually looks like a 70 year old womans tata's or politically correct droopy dog ears.
Jeters signing habits have been changing dramatically over the years...its getting harder and harder to pin the good ones and or the bad ones...here is an in person signed card from a charity signing...as you can see this example is pretty clean...now if you see him in the street it almost doesn't pay to have him sign...he will just do it terrible...
Another good example. But Notice the "D" how it droops.
I agree with you Cee Gee, Jeter is a moody signer however when you get a rushed signature from him the "D" and most of the formation still stays the same. I wouldn't consider the photo's I have listed to be rushed or from a moody signing Jeter, I would consider these neat and almost like he was doing a signing for Steiner. The "D's" are horrible and not even close in my opinion. Also the middle is off, the line that is directly in the middle of what is supposed to be the "K" is too straight and has no loop coming back down to form the "J". These are no doubt part of the stellar forgeries that have been out there and to the virgin eye look good but not to a Jeter collector.
I'm wondering if these are that good that JSA is thinking they are real because I've seen this style before.
Yes definitely fake, Notice the "D" on the second ball, compare that to the "D" on the ones that JSA authenticated, same "D" also notice how the loops circle back into the "D" on the real Jeters you may see 1 loop or none but never 2 loops back into the "D".
Yeah i noticed that as well, the JSA ones above appear "scrunched".
All LEGIT !!!! and great pieces I may add...especially the one with MO....classic formation and clean as hell...
